This time last year I was on the phone with a friend who had recently signed up for real estate pre-licensing course. The next day I called Mitchell Community College and signed up for the next class, which happened to be the following day.
I had never thought about selling real estate. At this point, I found myself sitting in a class learning about the North Carolina rules and regulations of selling real estate and learning a new business language at the same time. My background was in entertainment marketing so I started this class with no clue about the business of real estate or how demanding the course would be.
By September I had completed the real estate pre-licensing course and completed all requirements to be a licensed real estate broker in the state of NC and joined the Berkshire Hathaway Home Services Carolinas Realty family . In November i joined the National Realtor Association.
